Does this mean the capitalized "I" or does it just imply referring to yourself by saying "I"? I-ther way, heh heh, that is an interesting connection. I would never have made it, that's for sure.
Another question, they studied "10 days of instant-message conversations from nearly 70 U.S. couples who had been dating for about one and a half years and had an average age of 19." Where did they find couples that were 19 years old and had been dating for 1 1/2 years? I know when I was in High School that 2 months was long, let alone a year and half. I think that in and of itself says something, it would be interesting if they studied a different population I think.
I do like the list of indicators that your relationship is going sour though, because I think that these can be seen not just in text messages, but every day conversation as well.
I am attending Brigham Young University studying Health Science and preparing to go to Physician Assistant School within the next year. My purpose for creating my blogs was to generate conversation about specific topics I have been interested in. I am by no means a professional on my blog topics, but I enjoy finding articles and making it easy for all those who want to gain a greater knowledge on these issues. I have a blog about Vaccinating Children and an awesome new blog I just created on Social Health and The Digital Age. Feel free to share whatever you like and hopefully we can get some good discussion going. : )
